As a kid I used to have one hand in my pocket while I was lying to my mother. Remember how you used to cross your fingers while telling a lie and it protected you from punishment? If you crossed your index and middle finger telling the lie did not count.

Remember that strange, loooong article this last Friday about, "Mayor Ravenstahl is On Vacation with his Brothers for a little while?" Turns out that must have been written to alert those in the Allegheny League of Municipalities that he would not be on hand at its recent convention to accept his Chairmanship. (There's a 6-year rotation and it's now Pittsburgh's turn.) He sent a CD-Rom of himself, though.

Onorato and Burn were there; Dan-O performed twice, once politically and once governmentally. Actually kind of pulled it off.
