You know, I'm probably going to get my Yinzer Card revoked for saying this, but I don't really mind Iron City moving out of Pittsburgh. If nothing else, the average quality of the City brewed beers will increase by at least 1000%.
Of course, it will rob locals of an easy opportunity to simulate sex in a canoe.

No big deal. I drink Yuengling.. a great NON-UNION beer.
Actually, I assisted an local investment group in assessing acquisition of Iron City from bankruptcy after Carlow was ousted. IIRC, we bid ~$18M without taking the pension obligation(s) and having creditors taking a hair-cut.
A group led by a waste management idiot from McKees Rocks and a venture capital firm bid, what?, $25-$26M, including all liabilities and the pension obligation. Doomed from the start.
When we lost, we said Iron City would be back sooner rather than later. You can't overpay by 30%-40% and expect to survive or make money.
Simulate sex in a canoe? I've been away from Pittsburgh too long.
Too many Irons will rob you of your ability to do the real thing, I guess.
