A Bureaucrat's Aside - 2009 Primary Postscript

Since Ravenstahl received more write in votes for the nomination, should we start referring to him as "The Republican Candidate for Mayor"?

He told a group at Pitt that he was running for both to "save the city money". So, among the things not on the table to give up to save money: cronyism, inefficiency. On the table to eliminate: democracy.
